Customs Master Data![]() ![]() |
Master Data defines subjects such as Business Partners, Customs
Tariff, Guarantee and License. When effectively managed, master
data provides a consistent context against which business
performance can be measured.

Declaration![]() |
Customs are working in close cooperation with the economy. Their
main goal is to process the flow of commodities as quickly as
possible. This is why the economic operator can declare any type
(e.g. import, export or transit) of declaration online. After that,
procedures can be defined to manage potential changes to the
declaration or approval.

Inspection![]() |
Illegal import, unauthorised export of classified goods, forged certificates, fraudulent evasion of embargo, bootlegging and many other illegitimate trade activities with or without criminal background cannot be identified by investigation of the declared data alone. The only way for the customs authorities to detect such cases with certitude is a physical inspection of the goods and close verification of the presented documents.

Notification![]() |
The customs notification is the confirmation back to the economic
operator with the payment request of duties. In order to finalize a
customs declaration it must be ensured that the process flow has
been completed.
