Funds determination allows organizations to manually or
automatically assigns funds to promotional activities. This is
imperative, as tracking funds to promotional activities allow
organizations insight into how they are spending promotional money
and what type of returns on investments they’re getting.

Funds Checkbook![]() |
The funds checkbook summarizes at any level in the hierarchy the
status of all value categories. It is a financial report that can
be visualized at any time during the lifecycle of a fund-related
object to view how much has been “spent” and how much is still
available.

Funds Management is the overall process for managing funds and
fund-related objects associated with promotional spending. It
oversees the integration of trade funds and trade promotions, to
allow better visibility and tracking of funds allocated to
promotional activities.

Funds Usages![]() |
Fund usages hold planned and actual expenses against the fund to
better manage and distribute funds to partners. A fund usage is
how funds are associated with trade promotions. Fund consumptions
are represented by fund usage objects in fund management. Fund
usages are used throughout the entire lifecycle of a fund and once
closed or accrued, the unconsumed budget or accruals will be
returned to the fund.
