Border Protection and Immigration Control supports the activities of public security stakeholders responsible for the areas of border protection and immigration control. Their main tasks include: border surveillance, inspections, immigration and visa management and rejection and repatriation. Border Protection and Immigration Control supports not only border and entry point operations in a more narrow sense, but also increasingly important activities in the context of “stretching the borders“, e.g. activities in other countries aimed at identifying illegal or unauthorized migration and supporting activities with criminal background.
