Is a platform that provides the integrated content, tools, and
methodologies that you need to implement, support, operate, and
monitor your enterprise's solutions in the pharmaceutical
industry.
- The URS documents are the descriptions of the functionalities
that the customer wants to run in the system. These documents can
be managed with SAP Solution Manager.
- The roadmap of SAP Solution Manager supports the full
documentation of the different phases of the project, including
predefined accelerators with versioning and status management.
- The business blueprint phase of SAP Solution Manager allows the
management and documentation of all kinds of templates, documents,
etc., with versioning, status management, and definition of
electronic signatures.
- The platform integrates content, tools, and methods for
implementation, support, operation, and control;
enables central administration and control of allocated,
decentralized applications;and provides automatic functions for
evaluation of problems.

IT Infrastructure Installation & Integration |
For systems already existing and systems to be implemented, any
available documentation from the installation period should be
gathered for the IQ. If there is no documentation available, then
the IQ should at least contain the following information:
- Hardware and software description and configuration
- Operating parameters
- Environmental controls
- Confirmation that the above items meet the suppliers or
manufacturer’s recommendations

Interface & Data Management |
For interfaces and the data management, any available
documentation from the specification, design, and installation
period should be gathered for the IQ. For the installation
qualification, at least the following information must be
available:

interfaces
Operating parameters of interfaces
Environmental controls of the interfaces

System Administration |
Reviews the main aspects of your solution operations, such as
interface settings, database administration, recovery, backup, and
liveCache administration. In order to serve your system
administration needs adequately, this service is offered in a
standard version to address most SAP Business Suite solutions, as
well as in a version to address the SAP APO component in SAP SCM
and the SAP CRM component in SAP CRM.
