Service organizations need to be able to assign the most appropriate resource to a service job. Resource planning functionality enables service organizations to organize, plan, and dispatch service resources to meet changing service demands in the most effective way. It lets customers choose the most suitable from a list of available appointments, during their initial call into the service organization. Resource planning takes service representative and customer availability, task duration, and necessary service representative qualifications into consideration when offering appointments. It provides resource planners with all key scheduling data that enables work progress and availability of the service resources to be monitored at a glance by supporting flexible views on resource, demand and assignment data. Thus reducing the frequency of conflict situations and the need to escalate.

  • Reduced costs:  Appropriate resource more likely to resolve problem quickly and effectively
  • Improved customer satisfaction:  Customer appreciates problem being resolved quickly and effectively
