  • The Customizing Distribution synchronizes the customizing settings when implementing or updating a system landscape. Before you synchronize customizing settings, you can compare them with another tool, the Customizing-Scout.

Transport System

  • The Change and Transport System (CTS) is a tool that helps you to organize development projects in the ABAP Workbench and in Customizing, and then transport the changes between the SAP systems in your system landscape.
  • The Transport Organizer provides you with functions for organizing software development projects. It is designed to support projects of all sizes, whether they are carried out centrally or in a distributed environment.
  • You can organize, perform, and monitor transports between your SAP systems using the Transport Management System (TMS).

 

User actions at the operating system level are no longer necessary, since all the necessary information and functions are mapped in the SAP system

  • SAP offers preconfigured systems (PCS or SAP Best Practices) for certain industries. These systems contain special industry information for typical structures in an industry and the corresponding default values for these structures in the SAP system

Industry-specific customizing data

  • A PCS also contains test data and industry-specific documentation. You can use this test data to try out examples of processes and scenarios.
