Customer: A Central Government Defence Organisation
- SAP ERP2005-IS Oil & Gas Supply Chain solutions provides the
backbone for this fuel supply
- Following an implementation and then technical upgrade alongside their integration
partner, 5 years previously, this customer needed to improve their support of a highly
dispersed global audience who regularly change their location and roles
- SAP Education Services led to an immediate return on investment of over 200% by
improved supply chain capability
SAP Education Services included:
- Business process workshops to establish breakdowns in working processes,
introduction of a training tool, up-skilling of an internal support team (Customer
Specific Training, Info Pak, onsite SAP coaching), business process mapping,
curriculum development, joint documentation of end user support documentation and
handover to internal team
Customer: Central Government
- Creating a Shared Service Centre with the customer's integration partner to make
efficiency gains when supporting their eight agencies

Customer: Major Energy Provider
- This Energy Provider was implementing SAP Finance, Logistics, Project Systems, Plant
Maintenance and HR across their business
- At the time they had no SAP trainers and no experience in implementing SAP
- They had a large user community and asked SAP Education to help develop a training
strategy and manage the training project for them
- SAP Education's End User Training recommended that this customer
follow their End User Training methodology to successfully complete their training
programme

Customer: An Independent Brewery
- This SME customer was undertaking a very large transformation project covering the
breadth of the ERP SAP ERP2005 solution
- They had their own business process leads available to deliver training however they
were unable to develop the training materials due to time pressures
SAP Education Services included:
- Deploying a team of training developers to create the training material, and an
Education Project Manager to manage the training development and overall strategy of
education within this complex implementation
- The Education Project Manager was responsible for ensuring that deadlines were met,
that the quality of work was to the standard required and that all the logistics were in
place for this to be a seamless training delivery
- Knowledge transfer and business sign-off were pivotal for this programme to
succeed
Customer: Local Authority
- This Local Authority was implementing a complex SAP industry solution
- They have a great deal of training skill within the organisation, but were not versed
in developing and delivering SAP training
- They were also using a training tool, SAP Productivity Pak, which was a new experience
for them
- To assist them with this roll out and to aid them with their training development using
SAP Productivity Pak, they requested a number of days Education Strategy Consulting
SAP Education Services included:
- Initially a Training Strategy was written and then ad hoc days were used to advise them
on the best way to implement the strategy and the use of best practices with respect to SAP
training
- Quality checking the training materials;
- Overseeing the logistics
- Helping to identify and mitigate risks
- Ensuring that all processes and checks were in place for a successful training
programme
Customer: Public Sector Organisation
- This public sector organisation was undertaking a large CRM implementation across a
number of different business units
- Although they had an implementation partner in place who was responsible for the
training development, the partner requested assistance to ensure they were abiding by
SAP's best practices for Education

- An Education Strategy Consultant was deployed on an ad hoc basis to oversee the
training project
- Quality assuring the training materials
- Suggesting options for the training delivery
- Ensuring optimisation of the training tool, RWD Info Pak
Customer: Large Services Organisation
- This large services organisation had gone live with SAP some time ago
- They had a large Super User community that had not been fully utilised and their
knowledge had stagnated
- Although there were many good processes in place to keep the Super Users informed and
invested, these were not being used to there full power
- In order to re-educate and reinvigorate the Super Users an SAP Super User Certification
programme was devised

- Devising a new Super User Programme
- Suggesting retraining, assessing and in turn certifying the Super Users
- Quality assuring the training materials
Customer: Financial Services
- This organisation was implementing a small, but very tailored, solution to assist with their yearly pay review
- A tool was already in place at the organisation, STT, and this was used to develop the training material and deploy the materials on the intranet
- Due to the geographical spread and the large numbers of users, eLearning was used to train some areas of the solution, with instructor led training being used for the smaller audiences
SAP Education Services included:
- SAP deployed an Education Strategy Consultant to write a training strategy and needs analysis and then a Education Project Manager was deployed to implement this
- Training development and delivery resources were also deployed, with the SAP Education Project Manager overseeing the whole Education roll out
