End User Training
End User Training Team
The End User Solutions Team has a number of specialist resources with extensive knowledge and varied experience working with customers to deliver successful education and training programmes. Our team will work with you to ensure the approach, plan and execution of your programme is effectively rolled out to your end user base. Our resources have experience of SAP implementations across many industry sectors in both the private and public sector, as well as national and multi-national rollouts.
Two key roles in our education consulting practice include our Education Strategy Consultants and Education Project Managers. Here are some examples of the typical activities they would get involved in on your training programme.
Education Strategy Consultant Typical duties include:
- Designing an enduring education and training approach to support your SAP implementation, integrating with your organisations overarching learning and development principles
- Outlining how education systems and tools can support and add value to your education programme
- Proposing a training team model, including recommended development and innovative delivery approaches
- Undertaking a training needs analysis to identify the scope and impact of processes, functionality, roles, and user base in order to calculate the resources required to execute the deliverables
- Integrating education and training effectively with programme level organisational change and communication activities
- Designing and recommending effective evaluation and assessment processes
- Undertaking education analysis, reviews and quality assurance for ‘business as usual’ requirements and at various stages in a project lifecycle (i.e. design, build, implementation, post go-live, benefit realisation)
- Recommend and implement best practice healthchecks to increase operational performance through optimisation of user performance in end-to-end business processes
- Transferring skills and/or mentoring clients and partners to implement new solutions or improve existing proficiencies
Education Project Management
Typical duties include:
- Provision of day to day management of the training team resources during mobilisation, training material development and delivery phases
- Managing the design and production of training templates
- Tools implementation and management, standards and templates guidance and management, technical support and knowledge transfer of tools expertise the customer
- Undertaking project management activities including developing a detailed project plan
- Ensuring that all work is aligned tthe overall project goals
- Providing status reporting to you, the customer and SAP management
- Managing changes to the project quality requirements, schedule and development tools and processes
- Undertaking training issue management and escalation, risk management and mitigation and change control
- Focusing on rigorous adherence to the agreed methodology and consistent application of the material development standards
- Manages the handover of knowledge transfer, training materials, tools and templates to business as usual training team
Whilst these are the typical duties, SAP Education appreciates that there is no such thing as a standard project. The nature of what we do isn’t typical and our customers are not standard! We work with each customer to define responsibilities so that our solution best fits your organisation.
